A: Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn the unit on. It will power on in the low (single blue light) temperature setting.
Each subsequent press of the power button will increase the temperature setting.

- 3 lights: high heat setting
Tip: To achieve maximum temperature, power your HeatBank inside before going outside. Powering it on in excessively cold or windy conditions may reduce performance.
Tip: To maximize operating time, it’s recommended to use this product within a clothing pocket. Operating time may be reduced when directly exposed to colder temperatures (outside of a pocket).

Q: How do I charge my HeatBank 6?
A: It’s shipped with a partial charge and must be fully charged before using the first time. Use only the charging cable provided with your product to avoid overheating, leaking, or explosion. Steps to properly charge are as follows:
- Plug the micro USB end of the charging cable into the small USB port. Plug the large USB end into a suitable charging device or Listed/Certified ITE Power Supply. Charging will begin automatically.
- Blue indicator lights will blink to show the power level while charging (3 lights for full charge, 1 light for low charge).
- Periodically inspect the condition of your charging cable. Contact Zippo for replacement recommendations if necessary.
- After charging/recharging, disconnect the charging cable.
- When disconnecting the cord, be sure to pull by plug rather than the cord to reduce risk of damage.
- Place charging cable away from sharp edges and so it doesn’t become tangled.
Q: Can I charge a mobile device with the HeatBank 6?
A: Yes. Here’s how:
- Ensure that your mobile device is compatible with your hand warmer.
- Connect the large USB plug of the appropriate mobile device charging cable (not included) into the large USB port. The mobile device should begin to charge automatically. The blue product light will illuminate indicating power status.
- While charging a mobile device, your HeatBank’s heat functions will be disabled to prevent overheating.
Q: How do I install the lanyard (if included)?
A: Push the small end of the lanyard through the hole in the HeatBank until contact with the plastic clip is made. Then:
- Feed the opposite larger end of the lanyard through the smaller loop sticking out to form a self-tightening loop.
- Continue feeding the lanyard through until only the small diameter thread is touching the product.
- Slide toggle to the back of the lanyard.
