Learn how to properly assemble and use your Zippo FlameScapes Spiral Fire Feature

 

Q: How do I assemble my Spiral Fire Feature?

A: Follow the steps below to assemble:

 

  1. Open box as indicated on outer labeling.
  2. Carefully remove all components from box.

CAUTION: Glass is fragile. Handle with care and install slowly.

      3.    Before inserting new glass, ensure Spiral Fire Feature is in the upright position and                        device door is closed

          4.    Using two hands carefully guide the glass in between the curved metal wall and                              support spring tabs

    CAUTION: Make sure glass is fully seated and is securely held in
    place by support spring tabs before proceeding.

          5.    Place Gel Fuel and Fuel Cover to the side for ignition later

          6.    Slide Snuffer into backside storage slot on base 180 degrees opposite the door.

    PLEASE NOTE: When installed correctly, both glass halves are offset to create a slight air gap. The air gap distance should be uniform from top to bottom.

    Note: Glass has tolerances. If one end is too tight, flip over and reinsert.

     

    Q: How do I start/ignite my Spiral Fire Feature?

    A: First, make sure you only use this outdoors in a well-ventilated area away from any flammable surface. Then following these steps:

    1. Open the door complete 180 degrees
    2. Open the Gel Fuel can away with the lid facing away from you
    3. Carefully place Gel Fuel can into the main chamber, ensuring the can is centered in the recessed groove.
    4. Place Fuel Cover over Gel Fuel can.
    5. Ignite fuel using an extended lighter or long match. 
    6. Close door
    7. The Spiral Fire Feature will create a tall, spinning flame within seconds once the door is closed.

    Do NOT touch or move Gel Fuel, or Spiral Fire  Feature after ignition. The glass and base become EXTREMELY HOT. Serious burns, injury or fire can occur.
    Use EXTREME CAUTION. 

     

    Q: How do I extinguish/turn off the Spiral Fire Feature?

    A: Follow these steps:

    WARNING: Device and glass will be hot.

    1. Remove the Snuffer from the back storage slot.
    2. Hold Snuffer in one hand. Ensure Snuffer recessed top and finger guard are both facing DOWN. 
    3. Immediately place Snuffer on top of Fuel Cap to  extinguish flame. Ensure Snuffer is fully seated on cap with no air gaps. 
    4. Wait 10 seconds to ensure flame is fully extinguished and then remove snuffer 
    5. Close door using tab and allow Spiral Fire Feature to completely cool. 
    6. Return Snuffer to storage slot with finger guard facing UP.
    7. After unit is completely cool, open door, remove Fuel Cover, remove Gel Fuel from Spiral Fire Feature and reinstall lid.
    8. Return Fuel Cover and close door. 
    9. Dispose or recycle Gel Fuel responsibly per relevant state and federal environmental laws and regulations.
